WANTED: Immigrants, students and their teacher to get an amendment to the Constitution passed allowing immigrants to be elected president.

   Our Constitution prevents immigrants from being president, even if they’re U.S. citizens. Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor of California, but can’t be president simply because he was born in Austria.That’s not right and it’s time to change this. (Article II, Section 1.5, “No Person except a natural born Citizen….shall be eligible to the Office of President…”)

   This will be easy because this is an idea whose time has come. Well, easy if you don’t mind working nights, holidays and weekends for years.

Everyone will say you will never succeed. Just keep imagining that someday there will be a framed plcture on the wall in your school with you standing next to the president of the United States who is an immigrant, unless of course the president is you.

   This will be one heck of a school government/civics project and look great on your resume too.
